Trainers give the nod to the Spirit XT10 treadmill because of its affordable price, smooth performance and minimum maintenance. The display is nothing particularly fancy but the overall functionality and appearance gets a thumbs up, especially in the 2007 model which has been bulked up.
The extra thick decks on Spirit treadmills are a plus for users weighing over 200 pounds and the 20”x55” running area is roomy enough for tall runners.
Owners of the Spirit XT10 love the sturdy feel and the variety offered in the selection of 10 programs, as well as the cooling fans to help get them through their workout.
Folding treadmills aren’t usually noted as being particularly stable but Spirit treadmills are an exception, so consider that another plus.
The Spirit XT10 doesn’t have everything but this treadmill does offer a lot of value for walkers and joggers with budgets in the $1000 to $1500 range.
