The ProForm Power 1080 treadmill console has a 7" full-color Touch Screen display that tracks your speed, time, distance, pulse, incline, and calories burned. Thirty pre-set programs include 20 calorie-burn and 10 all-terrain workouts, plus iFit® Live already built-in. Another feature is the Set-a-Goal workout center where you select the speed, time, or distance goals and the treadmill creates a workout for you.

The ProPorm Power 1080 treadmill is a runner’s treadmill that has a powerful and dynamically spin-balanced 3.25 CHP motor, deluxe shock absorption system, 15% incline, 12 mph speed, 350-pound max user capacity, large 20" x 60" running area, audio plug-in, workout fan, calorie and terrain workouts. The Workout Intensity Control feature lets you adjust the intensity level on the fly in any program to dial it up or ease down, whatever you need. The iFit® Live software is built-in; all you need is access to the wireless network in your home to download Google Maps™ trail runs, Jillian Michaels workouts, and more from the internet.

The ProForm Power 1080 is new treadmill and reviews from consumers are scarce, however, equipment pros like what they see here. The parts and labor warranty is outstanding, and with the big motor and all the impressive features, this is the best design that ProForm has come out with in a long time. The only negative is ProForm’s customer service which has been poor but it is improving. It would be a shame to dismiss this machine just because of the thought that you might be kept on hold for 20 minutes.

What We Say

This treadmill does everything well. This is exactly the features you would choose if you were custom designing your own machine. The ProForm Power 1080 rates well for power, quality, cushioning, reliability, running/walking space, and warranty. The drawback is the price at $2,499 MSRP. However, we have seen it on sale for as low as $1,299 – a nearly 50% discount – and that is the price point we are basing this review on. Do not pay full price now that you know ProForm offers such great deals. The ProForm Power 1080 treadmill is a Good Buy - if you catch it during a blowout sale.
