Golds Gym 430i - The Buzz

Users seem to really like the Gold's Gym 430i treadmill, as it provides a good workout and has a number of really good features for the price.

For starters, it comes with iFit Coach, an interactive workout program also found on NordicTrack and ProForm treadmills.  This is an exclusive membership based system that allows you to tap into on demand workouts from top industry trainers.

With Google maps you can visit locations all over the world and it's as if you are actually there walking, jogging or running.  It offers personalized workouts based on your fitness level and you can even choose from thousands of studio classes.

They do offer a free trial so you can try iFit Coach and see if you like it before paying the yearly fee.  Most people really enjoy all that it has to offer.

Another highlight on the Gold's Gym Trainer 430i is the adjustable AirStride cushioning, something that you really don't find often, especially on entry level treadmills.

You can adjust the cushioning on the treadmill to make it easier on your joints...choose the softest setting to make it much easier or replicate an outdoor run with the hardest setting.  This is great for those who have knee injuries or just want to be able to run for a longer period of time.

Other great features on the Gold's Gym 430i are easy assembly, which means you can put it together right out of the box without the usual hassles.

You get 10 degrees of power incline, so you can change up your workouts to make them more challenging.

Bluetooth Smart technology allows you to access the iFit program via your phone or tablet and Quick Controls allow you to easily change up your speed and incline to suit your needs.

Any negatives come out of our Gold's Gym Trainer 430i review?  Not really.  Just keep in mind that this is an entry level treadmill so you don't get all of the bells and whistles that you might find on a higher price machine.

But this one is under $500 so you can't expect too much.  It's definitely more of a treadmill for beginners or the elderly rather than for the serious runner.  It's on the smaller side so it's not ideal for very tall or heavy users.

If you think you will be doing a ton of running on a regular basis, you will probably want to consider more of a runner's treadmill like a higher end NordicTrack or Sole or even a Life Fitness treadmill if you have the budget for it.

All in all this is pretty good entry level model and there aren't too many decent ones under $500 these days.

Gold's Gym Trainer 430i - Final Thoughts

Although it's not the best treadmill you'll ever come across the Gold's 430i is an OK choice for beginners.

It's very affordable, it has power incline and cushioning adjustability.  it comes with iFit Coach capability that you won't find on any other sub $500 treadmill.  It's easy to set up and easy to fold.  It also comes with a decent warranty.

You can check it out at places like Walmart and Amazon to see if it's the right choice for you.  Just read through consumer reviews to get a feel for it and see if it has what you are looking for.
