The SportsArt Fitness T611 Treadmill – Sturdy, Reliable

The SportsArt Fitness T611 treadmill is SportsArt Fitness' entry level T-series machine competing in the premium treadmill bracket. It lists for $2,999, where it squares off against similarly outfitted models by Precor and other premium brands. When the sale price drops to around $2,230, it squeaks past its competitors based on value for the price.

The Buzz

UPDATE:  As of 2016, The T611 is no longer available for sale.  Check out all of the latest models here.

While trainers and some gym pros in the past have complained that SportsArt Fitness's treadmills were pricey for a relatively unknown brand, those concerns have largely fallen away as the company has continued to keep their prices relatively stable while more well-known premium brands have been steadily raising their prices.

Quality was never in question, as most reviews for the SportsArt T611 treadmill give it high marks for being a sturdy, reliable machine with precision engineered parts.

Some users love the MyFlex Plus deck system, which is advertised as adjusting the shock absorption and stability based on the individual user's weight. A few reviews did say that the cushioning system was comparable to others at this price range and wasn't all that unique in a treadmill at this price point, but hey, that's advertising, right?

What We Say

The SportsArt Fitness T611 treadmill is a strong contender for genuine value in a premium treadmill when you buy it on sale. The fact that the company is holding the line on prices speaks volumes about their dedication to giving their customers real value.

We really like their ActiveZone icon on the console that highlights which muscle groups you're targeting at any time during your workout. It's surprisingly motivating (sometimes the little things mean a lot). While the warranty is very good, we'd expect nothing less in this price range.
