The Buzz

UPDATE: The X15i came and went in 2016, so it's no longer available for sale.  Check out the full incline series, which is currently on sale here!

The Incline Trainer series has become quite a big seller for NordicTrack as it allows you to burn up to 5x the amount of calories with an impressive 40% option.  The best part is you can do this by simply walking at an incline, rather than having to jog or run to achieve those goals.

The NordicTrack X15i Incline Trainer also offers an industry leading 6% decline capability, similar to the X11 model, which changes the muscle targeting focus.  So you can fully mimic walking or running outdoors with both up and down hill workouts.

Users will also like the 15" HD TV which is great for those of you who don't have a television in your workout area, the powerful and quiet 4.5 CHP motor, the generously sized tread belt to accommodate runners as well, and the included wireless chest strap for accurate heart rate measurement.

And of course, there's iFit, which is worth the price on its own with its customized workouts, tracking and sharing ability and the fact that you can run anywhere in the world via Google maps and the machine will automatically adjust its decline and incline to match the terrain you've chosen.

All of the new Incline Trainers are web-enabled except for the entry-level X7i which has a basic display.  That model only goes up to 3% decline as opposed to 6% on all of the others.

The X15i and X11i have a 10" touch screen, and the X9i has a 7" web-enabled touch screen.

What We Say About the X15i Treadmill

We've been happy with these treadmills thus far and the new NordicTrack X15i Incline Trainer is likely to continue this trend.

If you're looking for a way to burn up the calories and lose weight and you don't necessarily want to run hard to achieve it, the incline trainers are a great option for you.

If you already have a TV then you'll be fine with the X11 or other models, but this one has the most powerful motor so far and a solid warranty.

This one is fairly new so we're waiting to give it a whirl and hear back from our visitors to see what their experiences have been like thus far.
