The Buzz

UPDATE:  The NordicTrack T7 si has been discontinued.  For similar models take a look at the new C Series treadmills from NordicTrack and find the one that's right for you.

Fitness trainers and experts point out that NordicTrack has put a lot of quality features in the T7 si treadmill including a decent motor, lifetime motor warranty, 10% incline, hand grip HR monitors, and a large 325-lb user capacity.

They especially like the adjustable cushioning on the deck which reduces impact on your ankles and knees by up to 33%. The adjustability is found in the patented DuraStride™ deck which has an isolator that can be moved to suit your preference.

The user can choose a harder workout platform or a softer one that’s easy on the joints. These types of advanced features are usually not found on treadmills priced at under $1000.

Consumers are calling this machine “a great deal.” Though the NordicTrack T7si treadmill is not a trainer for marathon runners, it will easily handle a 200-pound man who wants to run for a portion of his workout hour.

The unit is solid with no shaking of the console, and it offers enough entertainment goodies (iPod® plug-in port, upgraded premium speakers, iFit® compatible) to keep you motivated as well as distracted during your workout.

What We Say

This machine sells for $799? That’s incredible considering that the NordicTrack T7si not only looks like a treadmill that would cost at least twice that amount. It feels solid for a budget machine, with no vibration while running, and the features are exciting.

You’ll love the high-resolution display console, the overall construction and styling, the adjustable deck cushioning, 1-touch buttons, great speakers and fan, decent motor … just too many good points to name.

We are hard to please when we do treadmill reviews on sub-$800 units, but the NordicTrack T7si treadmill is an impressive, value-driven machine. Recommended.
